Hi again,
With this episode of road to recovery we check back in with Chris Ellenwood to see his progress in the past few weeks. Since we last sat down with him he’s hit his milestone goals of not only jogging but also sprinting and running up stairs, goals that are critical for him to be able to re-join the police department. Here, Anthony and Chris discuss his progress, his training and what they both feel are the milestones to come. For more information on Art Of Strength kettlebell training and recovery click here now. Man thats an awesome story! That just shows what determination the right type of training and the will to show the nay sayers that say it cant be done that its possible. He could have easily just listened to the doctors and been barely able to walk or worse in a wheelchair the rest of his life but he decided to take it into his hands and get great rehab and training by working out. Great motivation!
I completely agree! The typical doctor today has the same answer which is stop working out but from my experience that is the absolute wrong thing to do. I have seen so many cases where the doctor said someone wouldn’t have the ability to do something in the future due to an injury and after training hard made a full recovery or better. The take home point here is don’t let anyone tell you you cant do something!
Very inspiring video! This video illustrates the idea that with the right program any goals can be achieved! As this client is a police officer, it is very important that he is physically prepared to handle the unexpected.
