As soon as I met Chris for the first interview to get more information about Breakthrough, I knew joining would be a serious commitment.
I was at a crossroads.
I was in my late forties and realized I couldn’t just exercise here and there and eat whatever I wanted anymore.
The weight was coming on and the aches and pains were happening more frequently.
To make a commitment both financially and time wise felt a little overwhelming at first.
However after a short time I Breakthrough my concerns faded.
I love that the coaches know everyone individually (speaks to the smaller size of the gym) and tailor their feedback to each person’s individual fitness goals while challenging you at the same time.
They’re all passionate, dedicated, and thoughtful and make you want to be better.
Some of the biggest benefits I’ve experienced in my first year at Breakthrough are
- Awareness of my nutrition and water intake (I was always so focused on cardio and not much else).
- Consistent and challenging strength training
- Being a part of something bigger than just myself, and being in a place that creates the culture of a caring community and mutual encouragement.
My life has changed so much since beginning at Breakthrough.
My nutrition and water intake is MUCH better (actually a huge change), less alcohol, and an enormous improvement in my awareness, discipline, and overall sense of well-being.
This has led to lower body fat, weight loss, and feeling stronger and fitter.
If anyone were to ask my about joining Breakthrough my advice would be DO IT!
It’s the best money you will spend and worth every penny.
This is a gym that fully and genuinely understands that overall health is a combination of nutrition, exercise, and mindset.
They put tremendous energy and expertise into all of these areas through trainings, group challenges, yoga, and small group programming
That makes Breakthrough head and shoulders above any gym I’ve ever heard about or joined before!
